Site upgrades & assorted news

*Dust-dust*

Hello. The purpose of this post is to test new functionality in context of Zero’s recent site upgrades.

On one hand, it makes for the insertion of images much easier. For instance, here is the Circle’s latest work – a crossover between Monster Hunter and the Legend of Zelda, set to be released soon.

All in all, accounting for Morgane’s illness and “certain” incidents over across the ocean, progress appears to be within expectations. As additional liberties need to be taken when discussing the cultural situation, it is certain that the team will continue on with an additional component that is purely electronic/virtual. Zero remarked in surprise that this convention was truly the first one where no cash was ever exchanged. All readers purchased their items using their phones.

As such, it may be prudent to consider going along with the times. Expectations may be such that more updates will be forthcoming, pending on Morgane & the team’s own schedules. With her slow return to functional health, estimates are likely that updates will grow slightly more frequent in the coming year.

The new site apparently allows one to place captions on photos, which may create some rather interesting storytelling capabilities. For instance…

It seems we can almost do stuff like speech bubbles! There are certain kinks such as text-wrapping that we haven’t quite figured out how to do yet, but maybe this could become a storytelling tool.

While this is likely not particularly conductive to reading dialogue, one thing that is useful I think is to try out something that Morgane’s always wanted to do – namely, to introduce each one of us in the context of our hobbies, personal opinions, so on and so forth.

ALRIGHT GEEKS STOP PLAYING WITH THE DAMN WEBSITE AND GET BACK TO READING! RESEARCH DOESN’T DO ITSELF YA KNOW!
